1. Quantitative Ability:
There will be 30 QA questions to be attempted in 80 minutes(2.7 minutes per question). So, do expect the Questions to be slightly tricky. Unlike other Companies, TCS tests the Quantitative ability on a wide variety of topics including
                       Averages,
                       Mixtures and alligations,
                       Percentages,
                       Profit and loss
                       Algebra,
                       Ratio and Proportions,
                       Permutation and Combinations,
                       Probability,
                       Time, speed, distance,
                       Time and Work
                       Geometry
                       Numbers

Quantitative Ability – 22 attempts with 80% accuracy

2. Email Writing:

       In this part of the test, you are expected to write an email for the given scenario in the given range in 10 minutes. And you will also be given the keywords to be used in the Email

Recommended Strategy-Quantitative Ability:

• Attempting 30 Questions will be highly difficult . Even though its difficulty level is high, the questions are repeating every year. So, if you are prepared for the previous sample papers of TCS available in the online forums your rate of conversion will be higher. 
• Also, first concentrate on solving the easy questions. It’s all about selecting the right questions. So, don’t hesitate to skip the question if you don’t get any idea after taking 10-15 seconds on reading the questions. Because reading the questions, repeatedly will not get you the answer. 
• If you think you can solve the question but it seems to be difficult or calculation intensive then bookmark the question and move on. You can very well come back later to solve such questions. Because solving 10 questions in first 30 minutes will have high impact on your confidence to get back to the difficult questions and solve at least 12 more questions in next 50 minutes.

Recommended Strategy-Email Writing:

• This is one of the easiest parts. First quickly try to understand the given scenario then start writing. Be simple and crisp. Don’t move away from the topic. 
• Grammar is one of the important things that they evaluate. So some silly grammatical mistakes can hinder your chances. You need not use complex vocabulary. It should be simple such that everyone understands.
